Solange-Iconic
Solange is definitely one of my fashion icons....her style has evolved tremendously over the years. She doesn't wear what everyone else is wearing. & if she does, you wouldn't be able to tell that she is. She rocks high & low very well. Her hair is natural, & she rocks big wigs and long braids (which I love). Overall she has stepped out from under her sisters shadow and inspired so many of us...here are some of my fav looks from this fashionista...

Toned Down
Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj are both very talented artists and you either like em or you don't. They ALSO have a very eccentric way of dressing. Onstage and off. I thought I would display some pics of them in more things that us non performing folks would wear...

Spring/Summer 2012 trends
Even though there's snow on the ground and temps are in the lower 30s here in St. Louis, (insert sad face) Spring is definitely on my mind. I have NEVER been a fan of cooler weather & I absolutely despise the snow & ice. (who doesn't?) Currently I daydream of cute pedicured toes in sandals and adorable tops in pastel & bright colors.
Here are some trends that we can look forward to seeing in the stores.....
Maxi dresses/skirts
Yes...the maxi length is still very relevant, and can be almost effortless to wear.
Asymmetrical Hemlines
(aka mullet or waterfall) hemlines are all over the place. Have you noticed? Take a look...
Cutouts
Looking to show a little more skin (without denouncing your morals), try a cutout.
